I can only imagine what must've been going through the head of the person answering him. Impressive how well she handled that.

Can anyone explain why all my traceroutes time out, even to sites that I have no problem connecting to? There are a few sites that have been loading really slowly lately and I wanna see if my school's network just sucks (most likely) or if the sites are bad. But...every request times out. Thoughts?

Today's my birthday! 19 years old. So far I feel no different at all. Woo!

Presents so far include belts from my mom (more exciting to me than they probably sound), support pins from intrepia (which are awesome and totally going on the messenger bag that daydreamer is theoretically sending me), and chocolate and hugs from my friends (along with some other things which I believe are arriving tomorrow night). Also my friend Ashley is taking me to see my favorite musical, bare, on Saturday night. It's amazing that she even found a showing because it NEVER plays anywhere, but a company happens to be doing it in Fairfax, so we're gonna go and have a great time. I've never actually seen it before (since it plays so rarely) but I love the music and the story is amazing. Really, really excited for that.

Hopefully the day will become more interesting as it progresses. At the moment I'm just killing time until I go to bed and eating chocolate :D
