Icon information

NOTE

The logo should only be used in connection with IDAHOBIT's values and goals: supporting the rights, safety, dignity, and freedom of LGBTQIA+ people and communities.

Basic guidelines

  • Do not distort or rotate the logo. Use it at its original proportions.
  • Leave clear space around the logo. Do not place other elements or text too close to it.
  • Do not place the logo on backgrounds that reduce contrast and make it difficult to read.
  • Use the provided colour versions – do not recolour the logo.
  • Do not add effects such as drop shadows, outlines, or filters.

Combining the IDAHOBIT logo with your own

When using the IDAHOBIT logo alongside your organisation’s logo:

  • Give both logos clear, equal space.
  • Do not merge or overlap the logos.
  • Ensure both remain legible on the background you choose.

Logo

The pink triangle with an exclamation mark has historically been used to identify the IDAHOBIT initiative. Its origins lie in the Nazi regime, where it was used to mark homosexual men in concentration camps. LGBTQIA+ communities have since reclaimed the symbol, transforming it from a tool of persecution into one of resistance, strength, and collective power.

Three logo versions are available, each suited to different contexts.

Logomark

The logomark offers the greatest flexibility and is recommended for compact formats or where space is limited. It includes a subtle white outline to ensure visibility on dark backgrounds, always present but only noticeable when contrast requires it.

Full logo

This version includes the logomark, the full name of the day, the tagline, and an icon. Because of the amount of text, it is best used where there is enough space to maintain clear legibility.

Simplified logo

This version replaces the full name of the day with its acronym, keeping all other elements unchanged. Its shorter text makes it more adaptable and is often preferred across different formats and sizes.

Colours

The primary colours are a bold pink and dark purple. Tints and shades of the primary pink are available to ensure sufficient contrast while staying within the overall palette. Secondary colours complement the primaries and add variety and depth.

As the IDAHOBIT logo is primarily used in web and screen applications, colours are provided in HEX code only.
