I've had this update since before I moved to college, I just didn't have a moment to post it! I've been way too busy with homework and classes and things! But now that I do have a moment, I thought I'd share - I'm forever trying to keep ahead of things and not get behind when playing this hood; I just want to play ages and ages!

I'm back from my beach vacation! I had a lot of fun, but in some ways it's really nice to be back. Still, the summer is winding down really fast for me and I can't believe that it's all going to be over soon! I go back to school in a little over a week and then term starts and I'll be crazy busy ... but this time, I'll be taking my gaming computer with me, so hopefully you'll see a decrease in activity, but not a complete halt like last year.

Another Penn update for all you lovely folks! Because it's the summer, I feel like I'm just flying through the rounds .. things will definitely slow down when I return to school.. which will be in just a few weeks now. For now I'm just trying to focus on playing as much sims as I can for as long as I can, haha!

I managed to play a sim through University in one session and I'm proud of myself! Edison Penn, the middle Penn child (or one of them, since they had lots of boys!) went off to University last round so I wanted to play him this round so that I can move him back into the hood next round .. and he had quite an eventful time at La Fiesta University! There aren't very many pictures since he spent most of his time studying and I didn't want to overload you with too many pictures of that .. but some crazy things did happen!

Two updates in one day! I really wanted to get this one out of my uploads folder so that I could start playing again without knowing that I was behind. Besides, this update is really short. As I play through the families that consist mostly of elders and teens, there isn't really a lot that is going on, so I can move through those rounds a little more quickly than rounds with a lot more sims and a lot more things happening!

I haven't been playing the Sims as much lately - my dad has hired me to do some work over the summer with his website, and I'm still working to get things organized for when I go back to school .. I can't believe that's in a little over a month! It seems like the summer has just flown by! But when I do play, I end up playing entire updates .. I'm trying to post them as I play them so I don't get behind and end up spamming you guys again.

Finally, the last update of this rotation. I'm really excited to have finally finished this, because it means that I'm still excited about playing this hood and that I'm going to keep playing in the future! It also means that I can manage two projects at the same time just fine. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, see here.) I'm so excited that I'm posting this update right after another one, so sorry for spamming you all!

This update is a bit on the longish side, even for me. I'm thinking of dropping the rotation length from five sim days to 3-4, just so that I can move through these a little bit faster. Right now there are six sim families in the main hood and one at university - but that may change as I have many teens (3-4) who could become their own households.

The last family of this rotation is the Flores family, who we last saw here, with Dido (needlecream) and her daughter Mona!

I'm almost at the end of this rotation! Just two more updates and we'll be back at the beginning again - I'm thinking of adding another family to the town, but I'm not sure who to add.. I'll have to brainstorm that a little bit. It's either that or I'll begin playing the university updates. Next rotation will be exciting, with a lot going on, so I'll have to decide what to do!

The last Johnson update was here, and if you recall, this is the family consisting of Evan Johnson, his wife Amanda Johnson and their adorable little girl (the first in the neighborhood) Cecelia!

I'm still working my way through stockpiled updates for y'all - I think after this one I only have the Johnson and Flores update and then I'm ready to begin a new round! I'm really excited to start the next "round" of play because it looks like there will be a lot of new things going on and I've been toying with the idea of rolling for another family to add to the hood! There are some things I'm not excited about - like playing the young adults through university, but I think even that will be a lot more fun than I think!
