Friday: Entirely by chance, I stumbled upon a post on tumblr, about how the ME3 Extended Cut lowered the requirements for the "best" ending. I honestly hadn't known about that before.
So, I played the last few hours again.

And screamed and failed and wailed a lot at the screen, even when I was still waaay away from the ending (as you do, when you play ME3).

Saturday: I watched Brave (German title: "Merida", because German titles are stupid) with my BFFs. I got emotional a lot. Cried really hard at the ending (family conflict + crying characters = instant waterfalls). We three had the entire cinema to ourselves, but I was still glad for having mastered Silent Crying a long time ago :P

This was pretty much the first (non-anime) animated movie that I genuinely enjoyed, and not merely suffered through for my parents/friends, ahaha. Usually, these movies just don't click with me? I don't know why. Anyway, Brave was really really good.


Sunday: Don't have anything planned yet, but I hope the day will feature less emotional turmoil XD
I'm so addicted to Pokémon Conquest right now (but at least my BFF Ann is, too), it's baffling. Or I'll continue another one of my ME playthroughs. Or play Skyrim.

Weekends are for world-saving!

I didn't know you had it in you to be funny, amazon, but I approve!

I kind of can't help but adore the ads on youtube for ME3. They are ads! On youtube! They usually make me want to close the tab again right away or make me strain a muscle to mute the tone, because god forbit they do not make the ads 50% louder than the actual content.

Um, where was I again? ... right, the short ME3 ad! The Reaper sounds make me shiver every time; it's very similar to the ones the aliens in War of the Worlds made. /hides under her desk

I craved and looked up who the ominous DLC character is as soon as the buzz about it started. It is probably safe to assume that my resolve to remain absolutely spoiler free is crumbling, ahahaha. My flimsy reasoning: I already paid for it, I might as well know what I bought! (Also, somebody on tumblr said it was Conrad Verner. I was 99% sure they were joking, but that 1% of uncertainty horrified me more than I care to explain :P)

 

Something that made me ridiculously happy: you will be able to have fem!Shep on the cover of your ME3 version. Thank you for that, Bioware.


(I'm going to end the post here, on a positive note. And not talk about how weird the official fem!Shep looks most of the time or rage about the bishoujo statue of Liara. Or the bishoujo statue of Liara before they made her breasts smaller, because even the fanboys (!!!) found them unnerving. Or about the fem!Shep bishoujo statue that's apparently already being made. Nope, not going to talk about any of this...)
