Volunteer Screening
If you are wanting to volunteer at Mason, chaperone a field trip, or participate in any classroom celebrations, you must complete these steps! The district has created a mandated training video for all volunteers to watch and a background check must be completed.
STEP 1 & 2
Watch the video.
Watch the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District’s volunteer video found here. The video lasts 5 minutes. One you complete the video, complete the Volunteer Acknowledgement Form. This must be done!
STEP 3
Submit a background check form.
You will find the background forms in the front office of your child’s school. They will need a make a copy of your driver’s license.
Do them in order, do them backwards, just be sure to do all of them!
