Misadventures of a bookworm

I am 30, italian and still living (more or less happily) in the family nest. I worked part-time, doing some minor admin and mostly secretary job at my parents' firm for two years, then quit to jump on the social work ship 4 months ago. I am now jobless because I didn't have my contract renewed in January, so I am now on the look for a new job. I enrolled university again, after 4 years since I graduated with a MA's in social studies, and I am now in my third year. I am studying to become a special needs teacher in kindergarten. *edit: I was offered a social worker position for six months and I started on the new job on February 25th.*
I am not that much social. I am a nerd and often feel out of place when with people I don't know well. I am mostly into reading, writing and watching tv series. I am lactose intolerant, found out recently about it, and am still trying to figure out what to eat and what to avoid, but apart from that I am doing allright on this field so far. I love to procrastinate..oh and I love travelling!
