THE MISSION

 

The Marshal of Joy Ambassador Corps is a year-long paid residency that invests in Black TRANS leaders as architects of community power. We prioritize leadership development over optics and cultural impact over respectability. We are looking for those who understand that joy is a serious, strategic act of liberation. 

ELIGIBILITY

• Identify as a Black Transgender person.

• Reside in the US 

• Possess a blunt, radical political analysis and a commitment to Black TRANS community building.

THE RESIDENCY PACKAGE

• Financial Support: $10,000 annual stipend + $10,000 event production budget.

• Training: 3-day in-person orientation (“The Invocation”) focusing on mission, messaging, and event logistics.

• Visibility: Professional “Glam Day” photoshoot and national media amplification.

• Protection: Direct legal literacy training and access to the MPJI national partner network.

• Mentorship: Monthly peer learning circles with MPJI leadership and community advisors.
