The Marsa Safe System(MSS)

The Marsa Safe System is a system that detects anomalies for habitats on Mars.

When humans finally create a habitable structure on Mars, where all the parameters and conditions need to be maintained and controlled. In order to maintain humans in an artificial habitat, where each environmental factor needs to be strictly maintained within a particular safe range and errors negated or minimized to a point at which they will have no drastic effect. For this, it’s absolutely necessary for a system, which not only warns when things get out of range but also predicts the likelihood of any mishap occurring by analyzing the data collected from different parts of the habitat.

We have conceptualized an anomaly detection system that constantly monitors the ranges of different features, essential for life, and issues a warning if any feature falls out of range. The algorithm constantly records data from a multitude of sensors and learns about a certain area of that habitat, and establishes a set of parameters that allows the algorithm to predict any anomaly. The model closely monitors the data outside as well as inside the habitat using the recorded data of the particular planet.
