Women in Computing is hosting MarinaHacks: California State University, Long Beach's annual women-centric hackathon. This is an in-person 24-hour event dedicated to bringing together women to hone their skills, develop confidence, and fill the gender gap within the competitive tech industry.
MarinaHacks is a beginner-friendly and inclusive event open to all California State University, Long Beach students. Attend the event to network with others and improve your team-building skills. Also, gain the opportunity to develop your own project and obtain new technical experience.

Note: you must be registered for and checked in to MarinaHacks to work and submit a project/submission. Every hacker should have an acceptance email.
Requirements
- Title of Project (under 'Project Overview' tab)
- Competition Category (under 'Additional info' tab as Sponsor/Special Prizes)
- Software and Project Type
- Website, iOS app, Android app, web app, etc.
- Purpose of Project (under 'Project details' tab)
- What problem are you trying to tackle?
- Description of Project (under 'Project details' tab)
- State the functionality and features. This is your opportunity to pitch and sell your product!
- Video Demo of Project Features & Functionality (Anywhere between 1-5 minutes)
- Submit as a file or provide a link under 'Project details' or 'Additional info' tab
- Video requirements:
- Run through of your project
- Explanation of your code
- Project inspiration
- Link to Source Code (under 'Additional info' tab)
- Can either be on a Github Repository, other version control platforms, or even a Google Drive link. Proof of the existence of one's code.
- Team Member Names or Solo Competitor (under 'Manage team' tab)
