I have truly missed LJ. I tried, for well over a year to do a physical journal instead of an online one and you know, it isn't as satisfying and it isn't as easy. It's a pain to remember actually. So here I am. I'm back. I'm different. I'm happy.

I'm a business owner which I've never been before, and even though my first week has been difficult, I'm proud of myself for taking the steps to get here. I've lost 65 pounds this year and have done things I never thought I would be able to do - run 2.5k, play tennis for 2 hours, be in the pacific ocean battling the waves for more than an hour, and go hiking! I barely recognize myself - and its a good thing. I've come so far and I'm slowly but surely learning to live with my disability and not let it affect me the way that it once did. I also have a blog and website devoted to Fibromyalgia - I want to raise awareness and share the latest information that I can find about this illness. I may be currently winning the battle but the war is not over and there are millions of people fighting this everyday.

Another postive change in my life is that I now have a fantastic boyfriend (who is a foreign hottie btw) named Thomas who is here in the United States for now until we can get married. He's from Vienna, Austria and has traveled the world extensively. Its perfect because I have plans to travel the world and teach English in various countries over the next ten years so its good to have someone by my side who has the same travel bug that I do.

I'm still in school and its still annoying. But I am getting there - one more year and I'll be finished with my degree and certificate to teach English. Woohoo!

Anyway I suppose that I should get back to work.

I am a very heavy girl. I am also losing weight at last. This is my journey to hopefully losing 100lbs this year.
