 mangabases is the community for the posting of blank bases cropped from manga images. Though we emphasize black and white manga bases, we certainly wouldn't mind you posting bases from color spreads and stuff. Posting access is restricted, so make sure you read the rules and then comment here for posting access. This community is moderated by  tokyonoir and vacate. |
| WHAT IS A BASE? |
| A base is a 100x100 image cropped from a larger image. You should not do much to the base except for enhancing the color and quality. The base should not have added text or borders, as it would no longer be a base. (a 1-pixel black border is acceptable, but not encouraged) |
| THE RULES |
| 1. Thou shalt not post finished icons. 2. Thou shalt not post bases cropped from anything other than manga. 3. Thou shalt not advertise communities. 4. Thou shalt not start drama. 5. Thou shalt not direct link or steal the bases. 6. Thou shalt put base posts with more than 3 bases behind an LJ-cut. 7. Thou shalt credit the basemakers for their bases unless they expressly say that credit isn't needed. |
