MagicQ Remote Control
ChamSys MagicQ systems provide leading edge control of stage lighting, LED pixelmapping and media systems. The MagicQ Remote enables remote control of MagicQ systems including MagicQ consoles and MagicQ PC Wing solutions.
MagicQ Remote supports focusing with pan and tilt controls, colour adjustment using the rainbow colour picker and rig testing through the unique MagicQ Execute Window. Palettes, Groups and Cues can be edited and updated.
ChamSys MagicQ software supports up to 102,400 channels (200 DMX universes) and is available to download and use for free from ChamSys website www.chamsys.co.uk.

To revert to the normal version scroll down to the "You're a beta tester" section at the bottom of the Play Store listing and select Leave.
Please note, we cannot guarantee that beta versions will be stable and they should not be used in a critical show environment.
If you have a black screen at startup make a two fingered swipe gesture across the screen to switch out of Install Mode.

• Console entries on Connection Window list now contain a padlock icon when the console has a user set with a password.

Changes: • When emailing ChamSys Support the app will attempt to download a zip file from the MagicQ console containing log files. (Requires MagicQ 1.9.4.0)
• To improve MagicQ discovery a Scan button has been added to the Connection View.
• In the Connection View devices not running a MagicQ version older than the latest Stable will be highlighted in red.
• If a Console's IP address changes and it is already listed in the app's Connection View then the app will recognise it as the same console.

Changes: Execute Window Images appearance mode has been merged with a new Coloured appearance mode which displays the same view as the Coloured appearance on MagicQ.
The Execute Window can now handle grids larger than 20x20.
The Position Window will now show all Group and Position palette items when Record is selected, allowing empty palette items to be selected. The palettes will also now show items which have not had a label set.

. The separate Fine and Shift buttons have been restored. The operation of Shift has also changed. Enabling Shift on the remote will now operate on the next button pressed only and Shift will be disabled afterwards. The app will now not change the state of Shift on MagicQ.
. A connection health indicator has been added to the Connection button on the main menu.
. A setting has been added to lock the orientation of the device.

. Selecting the attribute range by tapping the centre of a bank encoder in the tablet Focus Window has been extended from the bottom two encoders to all encoders. (Requires MagicQ v1.8.7.6).
. Force Tablet Mode has been replaced by Large Screen Mode and now allows the mode to be toggled on both small and large screen devices.
. A 'Display Views on MagicQ' settings has been added. When enabled, Win views displayed will also be displayed in MagicQ.

Automatic WiFi switching for devices running Android 10 and above has been updated. When switching Wifi on connecting to a console you will now see a native Android dialog confirming that you wish to connect to the console.
Fixed colour picker data being requested when colour picker not selected. Previously when pressing Select Fan in the MagicQ colour picker the app would switch the selection to Select Single. #0025458
