Proud to be a B Corp

MadTree proudly became Ohio’s only B Corp certified company brewery in 2023. This means we’ve joined a global movement of companies that use business as a force for good and meet the highest standards of social and environmental impact. Less than 0.2% of breweries in America are B Corp certified.

Growing our future

MadTree has committed to delivering $5M of Impact by 2030. Our total contributions total $1,850,213, and we’re proud to share that we are on track to hit our goal.

As a B Corp and proud member of 1% for the Planet, we donate 1% of our sales to local, environmental nonprofits. We invest by working side-by-side with our non-profit partners — requiring and paying employees for 16 volunteer hours, yearly. Our dedication to planting a better community runs deep and we’re always looking for ways to branch out and be better.

$95,000 donated by individual MadTree guests to our tree fund in 2025.

Over 18 million pounds of spent grain feeding local livestock since 2016 (12,114,878 lbs).
Over 187,766 pounds of waste composted and diverted from the landfill since 2018.

Let’s Grow Local Day

Since 2019, we’ve been planting trees like mad all across Cincinnati. Almost a thousand trees across six neighborhoods to be exact (Clifton, West End, Avondale, Bond Hill, Lower Price Hill, and Mt. Auburn). Each year, more friends, partners, sponsors and volunteers join the Let’s Grow Local movement, more neighborhoods come into play, and more trees are planted.
