Recently, a coworker shared a roast recipe with me that kind of perked my interest. So much so that I wanted to give it a try. I’m going to share this with you, as I prepared it today.
It is a very simple recipe that requires very little ingredients. Because of the size of my family, I chose to use two roasts for filling everyone’s hungry bellies. You also use Campbell’s French Onion soup and Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese soup. I would have never thought to mix the two soups together and pour them over a roast, but here we go.
In goes the meat. Now that is certainly a pot full. I usually try to make a little extra in hopes that their will be enough for my husband and I to take for our lunch the next day. It doesn’t usually work out, but I keep hoping.
Because I was making two roasts, I used two cans each of Campbell’s French Onion soup and Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese Soup. It doesn’t quite look right at this point. Oh, well. I’m hoping for the best. Now, I just turn it on and let it cook in the crock pot.
Three hours in now and it is smelling wonderful. I think this might just taste delicious. I’m looking forward to dinner now.
Ahh! Now the finished product. It was so very good.
