Eligibility
- Open to students currently enrolled in post-secondary institutions.
- Participants of all years are welcome.
- Teams of 1-4 members allowed.
- Organizers, judges, and staff are not eligible to compete.
- Participants must comply with MLH policies.
Project and Submission Requirements
- Projects must include a clear AI/ML component.
- Projects must be built during the hackathon period.
- Submissions must include all required Devpost materials.
- Participants must follow the MLH Code of Conduct and MacHacks Code of Conduct.
- Projects must not violate intellectual property laws.
Failure to meet requirements may result in disqualification.
Prizes
Prize categories include:
- Overall Winners
- Best Use of Gemini API (MLH Sponsor Challenge)
- Additional AI-focused categories to be announced day-of
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Projects will be evaluated based on:
- Technical Depth of AI/ML Implementation
- Creativity & Innovation
- Impact & Practical Usefulness
- Design & User Experience
- Presentation & Demo Quality
Judges decisions are final.
