Eligibility

  • Open to students currently enrolled in post-secondary institutions.
  • Participants of all years are welcome.
  • Teams of 1-4 members allowed.
  • Organizers, judges, and staff are not eligible to compete.
  • Participants must comply with MLH policies.

Project and Submission Requirements

  • Projects must include a clear AI/ML component.
  • Projects must be built during the hackathon period.
  • Submissions must include all required Devpost materials.
  • Participants must follow the MLH Code of Conduct and MacHacks Code of Conduct.
  • Projects must not violate intellectual property laws.

Failure to meet requirements may result in disqualification.

Prizes

Prize categories include:

  • Overall Winners
  • Best Use of Gemini API (MLH Sponsor Challenge)
  • Additional AI-focused categories to be announced day-of

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Technical Depth of AI/ML Implementation
  • Creativity & Innovation
  • Impact & Practical Usefulness
  • Design & User Experience
  • Presentation & Demo Quality

Judges decisions are final.
