M3 Beauty Orlando Wedding Makeup Artist

FAQs

Do you go on location?

Yes! Our artists bring everything to you so your prep is relaxed, stress-free, and full of fun.

How far in advance should I book?

Even with a big team, wedding dates go quickly. We often book 6–12 months out, so the sooner you reserve your date, the better!

Do I need a Beauty Preview trial?

That’s completely up to you! A beauty preview is a trial run of your hair and/or makeup, giving you a clear idea of what to expect on your wedding day. While we do recommend scheduling one, it’s not required. Many of our brides travel from out of state or even out of the country, and we’re still able to deliver beautiful, flawless results every time.

When should I schedule my Beauty Preview?

The ideal time for a beauty preview is 2–3 months before your wedding. Many brides secure their wedding date first and then schedule their preview closer to the big day.

Will the team members at my hair and makeup preview be the same people on my wedding day?

Yes, the same artist and stylist will be with you on your wedding day. ONLY in the rare case of an emergency would a different team member step in. That’s one of the many reasons it’s great to work with a team that can take care of you in every way possible!

Where do Beauty Previews take place?

Previews are typically held at our studio in Maitland, FL, where we have professional makeup lighting and the perfect setup to ensure the best results. Upon request, we can make your preview completely stress-free by coming directly to you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Zelle and Venmo are our preferred payment methods. We also accept all major credit cards, though a 3.5% processing fee applies to card payments.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included, but it’s always greatly appreciated by your M3 team member(s). If you’re happy with your service, a tip of 18–22% is customary.

How long does hair and makeup take on the wedding day?

Hair and makeup services typically take 4–6 hours, depending on the size of your party. We create a detailed hair and makeup schedule before your wedding day, so you’ll have a clear timeline and know exactly when everyone should be in their chair.

Are there any minimums?

A four-person minimum for both hair & makeup is required for all weddings. Smaller parties can usually be accommodated on weekdays.

Why should I hire a makeup artist for my wedding?

Here are three essential reasons:

  1. Expertise and Quality: Our training, experience, and use of high-end products ensure you look your absolute best—both in person and in photos captured with today’s high-definition cameras.
  2. Convenience and Peace of Mind: Having a skilled, professional team handle your hair and makeup means less stress and more time to enjoy your special day. Every minute counts, and we make sure it runs smoothly.
  3. Investing in Memories: Many brides invest thousands in a photographer to capture their day perfectly—but your photos only look as good as your makeup! Your wedding pictures last a lifetime, so why not ensure you look flawless in every shot?
What if I have a large bridal party with time constraints?

M3 Beauty has a large team of highly trained artists and stylists. We can send two or more team members to your wedding location, ensuring that everyone is ready on time and looks flawless.

What should I do to prepare for my wedding day?

Be sure to drink lots of water and get plenty of rest the weeks leading up to your wedding. You should not do anything out of the ordinary within two weeks of the big day. It is strongly recommended that you do not get a facial within a week of your wedding or trial. Please arrive with clean, makeup-free, moisturized skin.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

Yes — airbrush is still available by request. However, most of our artists now prefer and recommend traditional foundation formulas for both weddings and photography. Traditional products have evolved tremendously in recent years, offering better shade range, longer wear, and a more customizable finish (from natural skin-like to full glam).

Airbrush can be a great option for certain skin types and looks, but it isn’t always the best choice for everyone. We’re happy to evaluate your skin, preferences, and desired look during your preview to determine what will perform best for your day.

Do you offer false lashes?

Yes! We always have a variety of false lashes on hand, ranging from subtle and natural to bold and dramatic styles.

Will my makeup last throughout the day/evening?

Absolutely! We use professional products designed to make your makeup last throughout your event. We’ll also provide tips and techniques for keeping your look fresh and guide you on touchups. For brides who want the ultimate red-carpet experience, we offer all-day packages where your hair/makeup artist is on hand for touchups—or even a fresh new look for the reception!

How long is a makeup appointment?

For bridal parties and family members, we typically allow 45–50 minutes per makeup application. For the bride, we recommend 1 hour to ensure exceptional attention to detail, so every close-up looks perfect.

What types of looks can you do for a bride?

It’s completely up to the bride! We encourage bringing reference photos and doing a bit of research to help your makeup artist understand the look you want. Trials are especially helpful for this. We’ve created everything from natural to glamorous or even themed looks, always focusing on enhancing your features so you feel like the best version of yourself.

What products do you use?

MAC, NARS, One Size, Patrick Ta, R.E.M. Beauty, Tarte, Milani, Anastasia, Morphe, Dior, Makeup Forever, RCMA, Rare Beauty, NYX, Sephora, Maybelline, L’Oreal and many other professional brands.

What do I need to bring for the hair preview?

Be sure to bring any items that will be in your hair such as a headband, veil, or other hair adornments. Also bring a photo of the dress and any inspiration photos you think might be useful in explaining what look you want.

What should I expect from a great hair stylist?

A great stylist brings more than skill and creativity—they consider your face shape, hair type, weather, accessories, dress style, and more. Even if you have a specific look in mind, it’s wise to consider their expert suggestions.

What do my bridal party and I need to do to prepare hair for the wedding day?

Wash your hair the day before or the morning of your wedding. Wear a button-down shirt, tube top, or deep V-neck, and bring any hair accessories like your veil or tiara. For updos, hair should be clean and completely dry. Everyone should arrive with dry hair unless you’ve booked a blow-dry service (must be arranged in advance)—in that case, wash your hair and leave it damp and ready for styling.

How long does it take to style hair?

For bridal parties and family members, we typically allow 45–50 minutes per hairstyle. For the bride, we recommend 1 hour to ensure exceptional attention to detail, so every close-up looks perfect. Additional time will be added for those with long hair or for extension application/styling.

What products do you use?

Kenra, Amika, Color Wow and more! See more information here.

What types of corporate and production services do you provide?

We provide professional hair, makeup, male grooming, and on-set continuity services for corporate shoots, broadcast, commercial, digital media, interviews, conferences, summits, panels, brand events, and internal communications. If talent is being filmed, photographed, or appearing on stage, we handle it.

Do you offer both hair and makeup, or can we book one without the other?

Yes, you can book hair, makeup, or both depending on your needs. We’ll recommend the right staffing based on your schedule, talent count, and whether ongoing touchups are required.

Do you provide on-set touchups or continuity grooming throughout the day?

Yes. Most corporate and production work requires grooming beyond initial camera-ready prep. Our artists provide ongoing touchups for shine, complexion, stray hairs, wardrobe adjustments, and continuity so talent looks consistent throughout filming, interviews, and photo sequences.

What’s the difference between a half-day and full-day booking?

Corporate and production work is booked as either a half day (up to 4 hours) or a full day (up to 8 hours).
If the schedule exceeds 8 hours, overtime is billed hourly. This structure allows flexibility for on-set changes, breaks, and filming delays.

How much time should we budget per person?

Typical timing is:

Setup or breakdown of workstation: ~15 minutes each

These can shift based on talent needs, call times, and project pace.

Male grooming / light camera prep: 10–15 minutes

Natural camera-ready makeup (female): 30–40 minutes

Fashion / glam makeup (female): 45–50 minutes

Blowout / full hairstyling (female): 45–50 minutes

Do you work with both male and female talent?

Yes! Male grooming is a significant portion of our corporate work, especially for broadcast, keynotes, internal media, leadership teams, and talent interviews.

Do you have service minimums?

Yes. Service minimums vary based on the type of booking:

Special Event / Red Carpet: four-service minimum for full hair and/or makeup

Corporate / Production: typically half-day or full-day rates

Do you work with diverse skin tones and hair textures?

Absolutely. Our artists are trained to work across undertones, complexions, and global skin tones, as well as a range of hair textures. This is a core part of our hiring standards.

What equipment do you bring, and what do you need on-site?

We bring makeup kits, hair kits, lighting, and (when needed) directors’ chairs. If bar stools are available on-site, that’s preferred to minimize equipment load-in.

We ask for:

A quiet prep area or green room when possible

Access to power

A small table or counter surface

Adequate lighting

Do you travel on-site, and are travel or parking fees applicable?

Yes. On-site travel is standard for corporate and production bookings. A base travel fee applies, and any parking fees incurred by artists will be added to the final invoice.

What payment methods do you accept, and do you offer Net terms?

We accept check, ACH, Zelle, and corporate credit card (processing fees may apply). Most returning corporate clients operate on Net 30, and longer terms (Net 45/60) can be discussed for established partners.

What is your cancellation or reschedule policy?

Because talent availability is reserved in advance, cancellations or reschedules within 14 days of the booking date are billed in full. This ensures artists are compensated for time held and prevents loss of work.
