The international M17 Conference 2025 took place last weekend (Sep 6-7) in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Poland. It was an honor for us to welcome guests from abroad: Sweden, Czechia, Germany, Austria, Greece, and the USA. We all had a great time interacting with each other, presenting and exchanging open-source radio related ideas.
More photos along with presentation recordings will be published as soon as possible.
See you next year!

On July 12, 2025, in the OpenDV forum, Jonathan Naylor G4KLX announced that support for M17 had been removed from Multi Mode Digital Voice Modem (MMDVM) package – apparently some days earlier.
Thus, when this change went into effect, it was sudden and unannounced. M17 Foundation had a neat, little booth at the Friedrichshafen HAM RADIO fair (A1-690). We showcased our open-source hardware, along with modified radios running OpenRTX: the Baofeng DM-1701 and TYT MD-380. The modified Nokia 3310/3330 and Remote Radio Unit brought most of the attention. Guests were offered a chance to test out the CS7000 handheld radio (one of the two COTS radios with M17 support) and Module17 1.0. Our friends at OpenRTX and ARDC had their stands right adjacent to ours.
