Tekkon Kinkreet has an unconventional animation which most anime enthusiasts would probably ignore. But don't be fooled by this, it bears so much more than its seemingly 2-dimensional graphics. It's powerful, emotional and maybe, disturbing at times.

Inside each and everyone of us is a darkness waiting to get out. Through whatever we do, whatever we feel, it'll always be there whispering in our ears.
Maybe we just have to find that faint light of hope to get us through the internal struggles. To search for that white bird in the company of our friends and families, or the face of a significant other. Maybe that's all we need to survive.

P.S. I just rediscovered a whole new aspect of my favorite member, and hey, I love him even more. So many wires inside his head, that guy has. <3

Met a new friend today. Emily, a University student from Germany has been traveling around Southeast Asia to study the different cultures, traditions and everyday lives of the people living in our side of the globe. On that account, she gave me this Single Use Camera hoping to catch a sneak peak into my life and probably see what I see, and how I see it.
It's interesting how she was telling me she was able to delve into the daily lives of, say, a monk in Cambodia doing his everyday food collection and temple visits or a tuktuk driver in Thailand on his excursion of taking people to places. Witnessing how different people are but never unfazed about the individuality of each culture. That no matter how simple a life can be, there are different ways to make each second count.
She mentioned of being able to see how a society and a culture make and mold a country, and what makes that country unique.
With that, I'm honored, you could say, of being asked to participate in such a wide-scale project (and I don't take the prettiest pictures nor do I know how to capture the perfect moment or angle for that matter). But, I want her to also see how beautiful our country is and the Filipino people are.
After all, it's more fun in the Philippines, right?
And here's the project. A website made to create a cartographical illustration of a certain country not by showing its shape (or color), but by looking deeper into its residents. Check the website out below!

I would not have found this world of rainbows.

There's always something about looking at vast open spaces printed in multicolor which never ceases to still me. It's like these images conjure a magic and inside me stirs something beautiful and appreciative.
In that moment all I want to do is be transported to that paradise, that oasis.

Someone, take me there. Somewhere, anywhere. Anywhere but here.
To Arashi's brat, gamer, macho man, musician and awesome awesome actor. To the "don't-give-me-shit" guy, to the member who writes songs which hit the spot, to the boy with the most vulnerable voice and to the one who says so much with just his eyes. Words can't even describe how much in awe I am of you. Indeed you and other Arashi members have trolled your way into my life, and I couldn't have been any happier. Happy freakin 30th birthday you cheeky boy! I wish you more success in the years to come, and I hope you enjoy this day to the fullest. Again, Otanjoubi Omedetou!!! ❤❤❤

"Love to take minutes like these- minutes of peace and keep them close."
For visuals, it's just me and good company, on a buzz by the beach, and the universe.

3. From Hell

4. The Elephant Man

5. The Seventh Seal

6. Vidocq

Probably the thing these films have in common are their dark and disturbing tone, and most of which are set back in the 19th century. And personally, there's something about the 19th century which just puts me in awe and captivation.
As for the latter being in French, I'm hoping to find a copy with English subtitles (judging my little knowledge on the language). And for whatever reason my mind has for me to finding an interest in such, I am hoping it will be founded soon.
(Might do a review, if time permits.)
Currently at the Domestic Airport waiting for my flight to Palawan. It's been quite a while since i've gone on a vacation and shall I say that I couldn't be any more excited to be away from life- or reality at least.
It is tiring to be living in a monotone, doing the same things and being in the same place for 9-10 hours day after day. This thing i'm in living in, is this all there is to it? Is this the best I can muster up? Is this really for me? Answers, anyone?
Flight's almost here. Time to go away for now.

This episode took place in the Sharehouse corner. Normally, a camera follows them from behind (which they have to pretend to not know about or something like that) after they walk out of the waiting room to the studio to shoot. Then here comes Aiba being his normal silly self minding the camera and saying his greetings in Korean. As usual, the members tell him off.
They each go out of their respective doors and find the now empty living room with 3 boxes on the floor.

Inside the boxes were significant memorabilia from their past episodes and the members spent the entire duration of the show reminiscing.
I was heavyhearted watching this final episode because HnA came to be one of my absolute favorites. I would have probably bawled if it wasn't for their occasional joking around.
Though not having bawled, I found my glassess fogging up as the episode was coming to a close.
After having taken their last ever photograph in Sharehouse,

the members left one by one, rendered their words of thanks and hung up their room keys.

Ohno, being Riida had the toughest job of packing up, turning off the lights and putting the show to a close.

This scene. *sheds tears right about here*
This show may have ended but I think that these guys will have more hopefully similar opportunities in the future and after all, it is Arashi's job to take the world by storm.
Looking on the brighter side, THERE IS THIS TO LOOK FORWARD TO!!!!

Time to wrap up this fangirl entry and hit the sacks real soon. I can say that yes, I am happy to have been sucked into this blackhole and addiction that is Arashi. Thank you so much for your awesomeness, boys! Til next time again!
