Annatto is an orange-red condiment which is obtained out of seeds of the achiote trees. These trees are native to the tropical regions in Mexico and Brazil. Annatto is a widely used as natural food colorant. Apart from high application rate by food and beverages industry, annatto is used by natural fabric industry, cosmetic industry, dyeing industry and other industries.
