Well, well, well, look who decided to come back and say "hello!". It's been a while, years actually. I think taking a long time off of blogging, or just Livejournal in general, has really brought some perspective. I would be a liar if I didn't say that I didn't miss doing this every single day, but I would also be a liar if I didn't say it was really nice to lay down the keyboard and commune with the outside world for a while.

Why did I decide to come back? Well, I did say that I missed doing this, and I tried my hand at blogger, and other sites that promise the same experience as LJ, but it just wasn't the same. Communicating through LJ was more than just a daily blog that I could talk about my life. It was a way to talk with people who really loved the same things I loved. Tumblr gave me an outlet to post pretty pictures of my fandoms, but some people can be really mean. Plus I guess I just need a place to vent.
