The latest hallabaloo over on LJ has me thankful I've switched to DW almost exclusively those many months ago (I still crosspost, but that's it). Anytime I click over to LJ, I just feel a little bit dirty and like a little bit of my soul gets eaten.

As such, I've disabled comments on LJ for now because the idea of my LJ/DW getting connected to my facebook just makes me want to run away very very fast. I do not want my RL friends to know about my LJ/DW shenanigans, thankyouverymuch. If I did, I would tell them myself.

After signing up for ladiesbigbang I now have the strong urge to write a Firefly/Temeraire crossover in which Serenity is a big badass dragon and Zoë is made of awesome and has a Longwing. Her and Jane can bond about being awesome and have strategic military talks!

So I applied to graduate in the spring, however it turned out that I needed a whole ONE MORE CLASS to do so (because I am lame and don't pay attention to such details, I didn't know until after I'd already applied).

The advising cadre informed me of my lack of credits and basically said STFU Newb. I proceeded to be sadface but accepting.

THEN, when I went to sign up for my ONE CLASS for the summer, it says I can't because I have a 'graduation hold' i.e. I'm graduating and therefore do not get to take anymore classes.

Except I'm not. And they know this. Because they're the ones that told me so. Like, two months ago.

....

SO, I go to the Office of People That Don't Care (better known as the Registrar's Office) and tell them that I gots problems, yo. And, while listening to their ipod, they nonchalantly tell me that I have to get the DEAN OF MY COLLEGE to tell them that I'm not graduating. Because clearly they don't trust my word for it. Or something.
