"File-sharers, beware: By July 12, major US Internet service providers (ISPs) will voluntarily begin serving as copyright police for the entertainment industry, according to Cary Sherman, chief executive of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The so-called “six-strikes” plan is said to be one of the most effective anti-piracy efforts ever established in the US."
The article goes on to give details. After six notices, internet providers will decide to throttle a person's internet speed, or cut it off altogether. I don't know if they will crack down on torrents only, or if it is up to the internet provider. I get the sense it is up to the internet provider. So some people could get away with downloading non torrents, while others might get their internet service cut off. I urge you to click it and read, as we all know people who download.
No more downloading eps of your favorite shows for vidding, gifs, or fanfiction art. No more downloading screencaps possibly. I'm so sorry my friends. I don't even know if BT Guard will work to protect you, but I would google it if I were you. It is a professional service that supposedly can protect you from the invasive eyes of your internet provider.
Just, my friends, please make each other aware. Please be aware of the date JULY 12TH. Mark your calendar and double check with your internet provider by then. If you start receiving notices of downloaded activity, this is why. And your internet service could be throttled or cut off.

Click this and follow the instructions which will remove all items from your Web History and pause the feature so nothing else will be added in future.
Also, you can completely remove Web History as a service from your account by clicking THIS LINK, checking the tick-box and confirming you want to remove Web History. To be safe, it is probably best to do the steps above first to remove any history that might have already been collected.

Title: Strange Things Happen At The One Two Points
Pairings: Frank/Gerard, Bob/Tegan Quin, one-sided Pete/Ashlee, one-sided Bob/Gerard
Length: ~80,000 words
Rating: Adult
Warnings: Character death. Rape/Non-con references. A very brief mention of pedophilia (none of the actual characters are subjected to it). Mind control. Villainization of a character. Disability. Disturbing imagery. Mental illness. Poorly researched religious and historical content.
Summary: 1930s. The Dust Bowl. Having no place to turn after his mother's death, Frank joins a carnival. By doing so a chain of events commence, that lead him to Pete. Frank and Pete couldn't be more different, but they both possess strange powers that gain momentum as their journeys unfurl. Both their lives, and that of those they know, will be irrevocably changed before the end.
Notes:
*This story is based on HBO's Carnivàle, and the major plot points and some of the dialogue belong to the creator of the show Daniel Knauf and HBO. The title is a Go proverb.
*Please note that Pete is the antagonist in this story, but also note that he is not evil by default, he's being led by ~The Powers That Be/faith/whatever you wanna call it, and his transformation is very gradual. Basically, he's the Devil's pawn and there's not much he can do about it! Also, all the warnings make the story seem much darker and more depressing than it actually is!
*Tegan is bisexual in the fic. She gets close with Bob for reasons explained in the story.
*Huge, huge thanks to everyone who has cheered me on and helped me along the way. Special thanks to
