We are creating a website which routes visitors to city wide events around Derby time.  These are, in particular, foodie oriented restaurants and local eateries. Visitors can check in to a venue and can win prizes after visiting a certain number of places.  This site is intended to increase the traffic to other less well-known, but unique restaurants only found in Louisville.

The inspiration for this project stemmed from conversations with local business owners and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. There are outstanding characteristics about our community that are worth celebrating.  We are creatives that love our neighbors, our bourbon and our local foodie scene.  We are dedicated, investing heart and soul into our dreams and at times are ultimately being overlooked.  Nothing makes this more difficult than to have the hopes of the Derby or seasonal visitors embark upon our city but finding patrons miss out on the best Louisville has to offer.

But with LouTrail app we hope to increase traffic to less well-known eateries and parts of the city.  The app offers a unique dining adventure only available in the Greater Louisville area by selecting local establishments and marketing them to future patrons who might not otherwise have come.
