I only realised recently, after my latest AdSense payment came through, that I’m locked out of my own primary payment user access. I’m highly suspecting that my migrating out of G Workspace is the culprit. Damn Google lockout.

When I used Google to search for “webgrrrl.net Google login without Gmail account“, there’s no result. However, with Bing, my blog post came in second after Google’s. I’ve always suspected that Google would purposely de-index information like this.
20k plus hits to my blog just in the past 24 hours, according to Cloudflare. I’m quite sure that the blog audit I did on WebGrrrl.net in 2024 was the main cause for my steady traffic increase to my blog. Or maybe it’s just AI bots swarming my site.

Notebook LM’s slide deck generator is SO GOOD and I’m crying of happiness 😭🥹 This is exactly the push I needed to subscribe to it ❣️

What would your favourite genAI respond if you prompted the following: “Create an image reflecting how I have treated you so far”? Gemini gave me the following response, which signified the following: Essentially, it portrays our conversation as a constructive “vibe check” where your inputs and my analytical abilities meet to create something polished and professional.

Prepping for my AI-centric training programs focusing on SMEs, and I thought I would put some of the mini tutorials online. Here’s a 15-minute guide on how to set up an AI-powered, zero filing system using Google Drive and Gemini.

While I was working on my training module, I was frustrated that the Brave browser didn’t have a built-in QR link generator like Chrome does. So what did I do? Build a Brave browser extension for it, of course. So me 🤦♀️ I swear by the time I feel the need to build another browser extension, I should just get myself a Chrome Web Store Developer account.
While I’ve spent enough time in the professional world to recognize a ‘circle back’ when I see one, I don’t think I could ever enjoy corporate-speak. That’s why a site like Bullshit Remover is such a fun tool to translate those endless paragraphs of synergistic fluff back into actual human English 🤣

The @webgrrrl Legacy: She was one of the earliest prominent female tech bloggers in Malaysia. Her blog, webgrrrl.net, served as a resource for tutorials on early web development, CSS, and community building during the “Web 2.0” era.
Nowadays I’m into NCT Wish content for my daily dose of K-pop cuteness aggression. They’re so freaking adorable and OnRiYu (based on the siON-RIku-YUshi trio name play, and affectionately pronounced as “only you”) member line is ridiculous visually and talent-wise. I now have a wacky OnRi wallpaper on my phone 🤩💖 They remind me so much of my kids hahaha 🤭
So hold up. This Bloomberg Digital post highlights widespread adoption of digital credentials to address deepfakes using the open source C2PA standard, like how HTTPS is prevalent to websites.
Take this a step further: adopt a widespread use of blockchain technology to securely sign these media.
So, while C2PA creates a digital “ID card” that tracks a video’s history, blockchain can act as a permanent, unchangeable record book that stores a copy of that ID so it can never be faked or erased. This combination allows anyone to instantly verify where a file came from, making it nearly impossible for a deepfake to pretend it is a real, original recording.
Would this be tedious for trademark or copyright owners to implement? Maybe. But with digital licensing automation, this can go far and worth being implemented.

Huhuh. Looks like a few of my sites are affected by the current Cloudflare downtime, including my books subdomain. Sad.
