Daily Devotion — February 24
Led by the Shepherd
(Psalm 23:1 NKJV)
Calling the Lord our Shepherd acknowledges dependence. Sheep do not lead themselves—they follow.
David’s confidence rested not in abundance, but in God’s care. When the Shepherd leads, lack loses its power.
Often, feelings of lack come from fear rather than reality. Walking with God means trusting His provision and guidance. God knows the needs of His people and faithfully provides according to His wisdom.
Where God leads, He sustains.
Reflection Questions:
1. Where do I struggle to trust God’s provision?
2. How does viewing God as Shepherd change my perspective?
3. What does contentment look like in my current season?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my Shepherd. Teach me to trust Your care and rest in Your provision. Help me to follow You faithfully. Amen.
Practical Application:
โ Thank God today for His provision.
โ Release worry about needs into His hands.
โ Follow God’s leading with trust.
Takeaway Thought:
Trusting the Shepherd replaces fear of lack with peace.
