Theme: Arise and Shine Again
Series: Glory
Scripture:
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” — Isaiah 60:1 (KJV)
Devotional Message: When Glory Calls Your Name
There comes a time when Heaven says, “Enough hiding — it’s time to shine.”
You’ve been through quiet seasons, unseen battles, and silent tears,
but God is declaring over you today: Arise, your light has come!
The word arise means to get up, to step forward, to take your place.
It’s not a suggestion — it’s a divine awakening.
And shine means to reflect what’s already upon you — the glory of God that covers, empowers, and transforms you.
You don’t have to wait for glory to come; it’s already here.
God’s presence in your life is your evidence.
The same glory that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power calling you out of delay, discouragement, and doubt.
Your circumstances don’t define your shine — His glory does.
Your laughter, peace, and victory are not results of ease,
but of glory working quietly behind the scenes.
So today, rise from fear.
Stand tall in faith.
Let the light of His glory announce a new chapter over your life — a chapter where joy glows, peace radiates, and purpose speaks loudly again.
1. Arise — Step Out of What Held You Back
“Arise, for this matter is your responsibility; we also are with you.” — Ezra 10:4
The moment you decide to rise, Heaven aligns with your obedience.
2. Shine — Reflect His Glory, Not Your Strength
“We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18
You shine brighter as you keep your eyes on Him.
3. Glory Restores What Darkness Tried to Hide
“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former.” — Haggai 2:9
What’s ahead of you carries more glory than what you’ve lost.
Say this:
“The glory of the Lord is upon me.
I rise in faith, I shine in grace,
and I walk in the fullness of His light.
My time to manifest His glory has come.”
Prayer:
Father, thank You for calling me to arise and shine again.
Let Your glory radiate through my words, my work, and my worship.
Lift me from every place of delay or doubt,
and let Your light shine so brightly in me that others see You through my life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step for Today:
Stand before your mirror and declare with confidence:
“The glory of the Lord is risen upon me.”
Then walk into your day like someone clothed in light — because you are.
Final Thought:
When God’s glory rises upon you, no darkness can resist.
You don’t have to chase the light — you are the light,
because His presence has made you a reflection of His glory.
