PROJECT TITLE:
Empowering Rural Pastors for Community Resilience (ERPCR)
TOTAL BUDGET:
$38,000 USD
DURATION:
12 months
GOAL:
To economically and socially empower rural pastors and their households, equipping them to be self-reliant and to better support their congregations and communities.
RATIONALE:
In rural Africa, pastors often serve with little to no income, lacking resources to support their own families, let alone their ministries.
Strengthening their livelihoods and -being creates ripple effects-positive impacting entire communities through empowered spiritual leadership and improved service outreach.
OBJECTIVES:
Provide livelihood tools anwelld training for 15 rural pastors and their families
Improve access to basic healthcare and hygiene for pastor households
Foster pastors’ capacity to support their communities in relief and development
Provide church instruments for the 15 churches to project pastors’ voices for clarity of the messages during church service
TARGET GROUP
15 rural pastors and their households in undeserved African communities in particular REHOBOTH pastors’ pool Kapuoyo.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
Pastors and their families gain financial independence
Improve health and hygiene in pastor households.
Pastors become empowered agents of community transformation
Improve quality of church service and attract more youths to church
SUSTAINABILITY MEASURES:
Income-generating tools and training are permanent assets
Peer-support networks formed among pastors to continue initiatives
Churches integrate economic empowerment into ministry models
NEXT STEPS:
Identify target pastors through local church networks
Conduct needs assessments and onboarding workshops.
Launch phase-wise implementation of each activity
MONITORING AND EVALUATION
The project will include regular monitoring through field visits, surveys and community feedback.
Progress will be evaluated using key performance indicators such as church growth, pastors’ outreach coverage and health service uptake
CONCLUSION
This initiative aims to create lasting change by addressing root causes of, poverty poor church attendance, poor rural evangelism and compromising of the gospel of truth by rural pastors in KENYAN VILLAGES. We seek the support of Stewards of Grace foundation to implement this project and uplift the lives of vulnerable pastors and the society as a whole.
