Some of us have forgotten the images of our days of depravity. We have quickly forgotten what we used to look like before grace found us, before mercy said, 'Live.' Thus, it becomes easy to cast the first stone and forget that our righteousness is not our own. If only we would remember how strayed we were, or how dead we had been, we would not close our hearts; we would be more sensitive, knowing how to love, care, and show mercy.
