JESUS IS MY SAVIOR

I had never taken thought about my savior
How he hung there on that old rugged cross
Or how he was always there beside me
To dry every tear that I cried
I would never bow my head before him
Or even take the time to pray
Until one day I heard Him softly whisper
My child let me take your pain away

Now I say that Jesus is my savior
He’s the one who has full control
I knelt down and gave Him all my burdens
I asked him to please make me whole
I know now I can’t make it without Him
I need Him to lead me on my way
I pray He will help me to hold on
I pray His love I always show

Now when I feel broken hearted
When ol satan rages out of control
I just lift my eyes toward Jesus
He gives me strength to carry my heavy load
I know I am never alone
Jesus is always by my side
I give Him all the praise and Glory
I’m thankful He gave me a new life
