About Me:
"My name is John Rogers, and I'm 49 years old. Before my cancer journey, I had a fulfilling career as a fashion model, gracing runways and photo shoots with confidence and passion. However, in April 2023, my life took an unexpected turn when I received the devastating news that I had stage 4B Carcinoma Buccal Mucosa Oral Cancer.

The diagnosis shook my world, but I was determined to face it head-on. On July 25, 2023, I underwent a life-changing surgery at HCG EKO Kolkata. Post-surgery, my condition was critical, and I spent 10 days in the ICU under close observation. Later, I was moved to a ward, where I received immense love and support from my family and friends.

However, witnessing fellow cancer patients struggling with hopelessness and despair struck a chord within me. As I recovered, I saw a powerful quote on the hospital wall: "Cancer is just a chapter, not the whole story. Stay strong." These words resonated deeply.

Cancer took many things from me – my hair, eyelashes, eyebrows, and parts of my organs, including my left jaws both upper and lower, upper palate, left side chewing muscles, and portion of my tongue. Yet, it couldn't touch my spirit or character; instead, it strengthened me.

My fashion background taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of inner beauty. Now, I'm using those lessons to inspire others.

I'm grateful for the overwhelming support and feel blessed. My heart goes out to those navigating this dark journey alone, gripped by cancer's fear. As I rise above, I'm reminded: "Cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer the spirit."

Today, I'm bouncing back with renewed hope and joy. To my fellow cancer warriors struggling with depression and anxiety, I urge you: stay positive, this too shall pass. You will shine brighter than ever. Let's rise above cancer's shadow together!"
