Why would the Lord give us more revelation of truth if we aren't using what we already have? That would just make us more accountable and increase the devil's attacks against us ([Mark 4:17](mark:4:17)). We get out of God's Word proportional to what we put into it. Those who receive and assimilate truth will have their capacity for understanding enlarged and their knowledge increased.
