Let me introduce myself to you as the author of this group. I currently live near St. Louis, MO and am retired from the IT industry as Director of Information Technology for Central Florida College, Winter Park, FL. I was responsible for all technology over six campuses throughout Florida.
From 1992-2003 I founded and operated SCANCO Technologies, Inc in Longwood, FL as a full sales & service computer company catering to small businesses throughout the Orlando, FL region. I also created BargainSmart, an online reseller of wireless audio/video products by the Recoton Corporation based in Lake Mary, FL. I generated over $150K in sales revenue the first year of operation. During this period I was also an Adjunct Instruct in the Network Technology department of Seminole Community College, Sanford, FL.
Beginning in 1971 I served as Minister of Music/Youth in several southern Baptist churches from Missouri to Colorado to Florida spanning 30 years in both full-time and bi-vocational roles.
Today and since 2014, I am providing vocal music entertainment at over 30 Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities throughout the St. Louis and St Charles counties having completed over 800 shows by the end of 2024. Beginning also in August, 2024, I became a Founding Member of RUBI (Relational Understanding Based Interaction) by Flex Technologies, Inc and started writing, producing and releasing original music using RUBI's Music AI platform. As of this post, I have released 9 albums and over 50 singles which can be found by searching your favorite music streaming platform for Larry Lewis & The Digital Vocal Band.
