Hello, my name is Samantha Miles. I am proud to be part of CLI as a student and God will a tutor. I’ve been a believer in God for many years, although my faith journey has been fraught with struggles and doubts. I’ve faced numerous challenges in life, including physical, emotional, and spiritual abuse.

My parents introduced me to God, taking me to various churches to explore different doctrines. Yet, the abuse I endured led me to question my faith deeply, prompting me to plead with God for proof of His existence. When I was 18, a tragedy struck: my father shot and killed my mother, my eight-month-old sister, and himself. In the aftermath, many friends and family distanced themselves or unjustly blamed me, which was incredibly painful. I sought refuge in the church, but often found myself caught up in appearances rather than connecting with God’s spirit.

I thought I knew myself until I met my second husband, Timothy, who lived across from the house where my family had perished. Despite my initial hesitations, we moved away and began our family, blessed with two beautiful daughters, Jasmine and Issabella. Doctors had told me I couldn’t have children, but God had other plans. He has consistently blessed us, helping us overcome serious health issues, including cancer, heart attacks, and strokes.

I often tell people that there’s no testimony without a test. Life challenges us from the moment we are born, and we face trials every day. We should rejoice in God’s promise of eternal life. Daily prayer and devotion are profound gifts, as is our relationship with the Trinity. John 3:16 is a verse that resonates deeply with me: God loved us so much that He gave His Son, so that we may have everlasting life—free from pain and suffering.

I am pleased to say that in Christ's name we have started Northwest Florida's Traveler's Church. We are located at 208 West Dodwood Ave Defuniak Springs. Our previous church was bought out to expand HWY 331 in Freeport Florida. My family an I were in the process of finding a new church when I suffered my first stroke and could not get out and about. God sent a beautiful message that I had been tested in many ways and he knew my heart. I believe this is my true calling and my husband and our children believe this as well and they are studying with me to bring the word to others. We collect used and neglected Bibles to rehome. We also provide food for the needy when we are able. Our family looks at life in a unique way that affirms family bonding and hard work mixed with daily worship. We hope to spread God's word everyone paying special attention to the disabled and homeless. I am blessed because he loves me and I will spread the word of Jesus Christ.

Blessing,
