If Jesus were just a “good teacher,” His words wouldn’t make sense. He didn’t simply teach love, kindness, and forgiveness—He made bold claims about His identity. He said He is one with God. He said He is the way, the truth, and the life. He claimed to be the Son of God. And those statements don’t leave room for neutrality. That’s why this question matters so much: Who is Jesus to you? Because logically, there are only a few options. Either He was lying… or He was confused… or He is exactly who He said He is—Lord. Jesus wasn’t crucified for being nice or inspiring. He was crucified because He claimed to be God. And that claim forces every single one of us to make a decision. You can’t just admire Him. You can’t just agree with parts of what He said.
