*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 101*
*DATE: 11TH APRIL 2026*
*TOPIC: DIVINE EMPOWERMENT*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: ZECHARIAH 4:6 (NKJV)*
*“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the LORD of hosts.*
*Devotional Message:*
Yesterday, we saw that discovering your place in the body of Christ helps you function effectively without competition, but with cooperation. However, discovering your place is only the beginning—fulfilling your assignment requires divine empowerment.
God never intended for us to rely on our own strength. In His instruction to Zerubbabel, He made it clear that the work would not be accomplished by human might or power, but by His Spirit. This shows that every assignment God gives requires the enablement of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus emphasized this truth when He told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. Though they had walked with Him and received His teachings, they still needed the empowerment of the Holy Spirit before stepping into their assignment.
When the Holy Spirit came upon them, they were transformed. Fear gave way to boldness, weakness to strength, and uncertainty to clarity. They began to preach with power, perform miracles, and impact lives and cities. Their effectiveness was not by their ability, but by the Spirit working through them.
Beloved, the Holy Spirit is essential in your journey. He empowers you to overcome opposition, stand firm in trials, and remain strong even when you feel like giving up. He gives you wisdom, direction, and grace to fulfill your purpose.
Without the Holy Spirit, the journey can feel overwhelming. But with Him, you are strengthened, guided, and equipped to finish well.
*Prayer:*
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I acknowledge that I cannot fulfill my assignment in my own strength. I yield myself to You today. Fill me afresh with Your Spirit and empower me to walk in boldness, wisdom, and strength. Help me to depend on You in all that I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
