Psalm 119:165 READ: Daniel 6:25-28 25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. 27 He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. 28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian. MESSAGE: In some cultures, kings often greet their subjects by saying, "Peace be multiplied unto you." In Daniel 6:25, when King Darius was writing to all his subjects after Daniel had escaped the lions' den unhurt, he started his letter with, "Peace be multiplied unto you." Also, in the New Testament, each time Apostle Paul wrote to the various churches, he would start by greeting them, "Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father" (Romans 1:7, 1 Corinthians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 1:2, Galatians 1:3). Likewise, Peter, in his letters, often wrote, "Peace be multiplied unto you" (1 Peter 1:2 and 2 Peter 1:2). All of these greetings make us understand that peace can increase, and it can be multiplied. Even if you feel that you already have peace and there is nothing to worry about, you should always pray that your peace will be multiplied. If peace can bring so much rest, multiplied peace can bring much more. Years ago, I was returning from Britain to Nigeria on the same flight as a great man of God and his wife. According to his testimony, which I heard later on, he told his wife during the flight that since Daddy G.O. was on the plane with them, there was absolutely nothing to worry about. When we were halfway through the journey, the plane encountered severe turbulence, and the entire cabin began to shake. According to the man of God, he got up at that moment, looked at where I was seated on the plane, and saw that I was fast asleep. He then returned to his seat and told his wife that there was absolutely nothing to worry about because "Daddy is sleeping." He said that seeing me sleeping at that moment multiplied the peace he already had. When you experience multiplied peace from God, every form of trouble or fear will be far from you. In John 14:27, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" I pray that the peace of the Lord will be multiplied unto you today, in Jesus' name. Beloved, the secret to enjoying multiplied peace from God is revealed in today's memory verse - loving Him and His law. If you indeed want your peace to be multiplied, you must love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37), and obey His commandments at all times. PRAYER POINT: Father, please multiply Your peace in all areas of my life, in Jesus' Name. Thank You for Your promise to give me peace that passes man's understanding. ‎ ‎✓Jesus the Prince of Peace, You promised to give me Your peace, not as the world give, please let Your presence go with me wherever I go and keep me in Your peace. ‎ ‎✓Father, please multiply my peace and let me have much more rest all around me, and my family, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, it is written "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil", please in the midst of storms and turbulence, may I not loose my peace; and let everyone around me also receive your peace, in Jesus' name ‎ ‎✓O my heart, it is written "do not be troubled, neither be ye afraid..." I therefore receive the peace from the presence of the Holy Spirit to walk through everyday of my life without fear or trouble, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, please, help me to love You with all my heart, soul and mind, and to obey all Your commands, so that Your peace can be multiplied on me, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, please wherever there is trouble across my country, I decree let there be peace, and let an end come to the killings and destruction of lives across all trouble zones. Please fill our homes again with peace that runs deeper than the ocean, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, for everyone in the midst of trouble and fear, let Your peace flow and fill their hearts with the assurance that all will be well again. Let salvation come to those in captivity and let there be total restoration, in Jesus name. ‎ ‎✓Father, please multiply Your peace in all areas of my life, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, thank You for the life of Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye. ‎ ‎Do not take Your peace away from him, in Jesus' name. Bless his children (biological and spiritual).
