Topic: If you don’t listen… God can use even a donkey…

Today’s God’s Word:
“Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and it said to Balaam, ‘What have I done to you that you have struck me these three times?’”
— Numbers 22:28

In this passage, we see a surprising event. Balaam, a prophet, could not hear God’s voice, but a simple donkey was able to see the angel.

Character of Balaam:
• Though he knew God, his heart was filled with selfishness.
• He ignored God’s will for the sake of money and personal gain.
• He appeared spiritual outwardly, but inwardly he was blind.
• He failed to recognize God’s warnings and reacted in anger.

Spiritual nature of the donkey:
• Though just an animal, it was spiritually alert.
• It saw the angel and recognized the danger.
• It stood still to protect its master and endured the ضربات (blows).
• It honored God’s will and showed obedience.

Lesson:
God does not look at our position or name… He looks at our heart.
We should not be like Balaam—appearing spiritual outwardly but blind inside.
Even like a donkey, we must be able to recognize God’s voice and obey Him.

Sometimes God stops us—not as a curse, but as protection!
If we don’t listen, God can speak even through a donkey!
Prayer:
Lord, help us not to be blind like Balaam, but give us a heart like the donkey—to recognize Your voice. Grant us the wisdom to walk in obedience to Your will. Amen.
