Heavenly Father,
We come before You this Monday morning, grateful and awakened by the truth of the empty tomb. “He is not here, but is risen” (Luke 24:6). Because Jesus lives, we rise today in victory, hope, and purpose.
Lord, today we make a fresh and intentional commitment before You:
We commit to following and pursuing Jesus.
Your Word declares, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). Father, give us the discipline and desire to pursue You above all else. Let our lives reflect a daily surrender and a relentless pursuit of Your presence.
We commit to knowing and remembering Your Word.
You reminded them, “Remember how He spoke unto you…” (Luke 24:6). And Your Word says, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:11). Lord, plant Your Word deep within us. Bring it back to our remembrance in every season, and help us to stand firmly on Your truth.
We commit to faith in action.
Your Word declares, “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:17). Just as they rose up and went to tell others, give us boldness to move when You speak. Let us not be stagnant, but active in obedience—walking by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
We commit to standing and going alone if necessary.
Father, Your Word reminds us, “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life” (Revelation 2:10). Even when others doubt, even when we must stand alone, strengthen us to remain faithful. Help us to remember, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).
Lord, roll away every stone that tries to hinder our commitment—fear, doubt, insecurity, and distraction. Fill us with resurrection power and boldness. Let this Monday be marked by transformation, consistency, and unwavering faith.
We declare that we will follow Jesus, we will stand on Your Word, we will walk in faith, and we will remain steadfast—no matter what comes our way.
In the mighty, risen, and victorious name of Jesus,
Amen.
