We live in a noisy world—notifications, deadlines, and endless demands pulling our attention. We find ourselves breathless in a race with no finish line, exhausted and buried beneath the digital debris of a thousand distractions. Yet above the noise is a voice we often ignore. The question is not whether we can endure the world’s noise but whether we will answer God’s call.

The Lord declares in This was spoken to Jeremiah in a time of distress—when the nation was broken and hope seemed distant. Yet even in judgment, God was not silent—He extended an invitation.

“๐˜Š๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ”—this is not man reaching up first, but God calling us to call Him. Prayer begins not with our desire, but with His invitation. Like a king opening the door to the undeserving, God welcomes us into His presence—not to impress Him, but to know Him.

Scripture confirms this divine invitation. Prayer is not a performance—it is a response to a God who is already calling.

The tragedy isn't unanswered prayer—it's unoffered prayer.

And when He calls, He promises to answer. Like a father waiting for his child to speak, God is ready—not distant, not reluctant, but willing. The problem is never His silence—it is often our delay.

Christ is the reason we can answer this call. Through Him, we have access to the Father. The same Saviour who called Lazarus from the grave now calls our hearts from distraction, exhaustion, and despair. The King has called—the door stands open.

So here we are—invited, called, and welcomed. The noise may be loud and distractions many, but God’s voice never fades. You don’t need Christ just for answers—you need Him to bring you near to God. What is keeping you from calling on Him today? The God of Jeremiah has not changed. He still calls. He still answers. He is still able.
