Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
Yesterday’s message was of pure Spirit, and we stayed for Sunday school. The last question in Sunday School was quite profound.
In summary, the question was ‘What can the faith of one man do?’.
The study class was on King Hezekiah, but I want you to think about a couple more. I have spoken of Noah’s faith many times. What about the faith of David to NOT destroy Saul but respect him. Faith of Daniel to hold to his desire to praise God and not fall in line with the world. Three very prominent men of the Old Testament out of countless to choose from.
Conditions for each of these men were not that much different than those in practice today. The difference is really the radius in which they had personal contact. Today’s outreach is so much vaster thanks to the internet. The faith of one follower today could change countless lives…just by being obedient to His call.
We may never know all of those that we have touched. We may never see the fruit of our harvest. But, on those occasions where you are thanked or acknowledged, those are priceless commodities to hang onto. A simple yet profoundly humbling act of obedience can change a life. When doing so, the ripple effect begins.
Today, in your walk through the chaos of this crazy world, purpose to change someone’s life. Purpose to give someone joy. Purpose to be a blessing. Purpose to be that one person of faith to change the world one person at a time.
Be blessed.
**Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. – Psalm 95:2-3
