Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
My morning started way too early for a day off. 0430. No reason. No need. Just decided to wake up and look at the darkness of my room. I was able to drift off a few times, but by 0630, I was done … I needed coffee.
The last time that I was woken up this early for no reason was when there were words to be put to paper; however, no words or thoughts came to mind. Perhaps it has to do with the last-minute story thought that I had last night. I do not know, but I am very slow-moving this morning. Wonder if I can rig an IV and place it in the coffee pot for direct infusion?
Today is His day. Today, we give thanks for all the blessings and the obstacles. Yes, the obstacles. Without the obstacles and the trials, how would we know and truly appreciate the good? No one wants to go through the hard times, but in reality, the hard times and how we navigate through them are what help others believe and follow. We are a society that needs physical affirmation that things are legit. What better way to show how legit Jesus is than to have someone follow how you navigate trials and tribulations?
I will confess, my turbulent times are rough. I am not always the most ‘Christian’ looking person from the world's view; however, it is not the world’s view of me I am worried about. It is the deciding factor that I decided to trust and obey the leading of the Holy Spirit. Making the choice to not throw in the towel. Making the choice to believe that He has it under control. Making the choice to stand firm in His love, regardless of what the world is showing me. Making a choice to believe in Him.
Today, wherever you find Him, give thanks for all your situations. Give your anxiety to Him and trust that He will provide. Quit seeing the physical and start seeing Him. The physical is the storm; He is the Lifeguard.
Be blessed.
