OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SUNDAY MARCH 29TH 2026 TOPIC: THERE IS POWER IN YOUR HANDS MEMORISE: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. - (Mark 16: 18) BIBLE READING: MARK 1:40-45 (KJV) 40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. 42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed. 43 And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away; 44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. 45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter. MESSAGE: In today's Bible reading, a leper came to Jesus, saying, "l know that if You want to, You can make me clean." In those days, leprosy was deemed incurable; however, when the man encountered Jesus, he was immediately cleansed. In Acts 3:1-11, Peter and John saw a man who had been born lame, and Peter said to him, "...In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." When the lame man didn't rise to his feet, Peter took him by his right hand and lifted him up. Immediately, the power of God flowed through Peter's hands into the lame man's bones, and he Jumped up. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. - (John 14:12) In the Scripture above, Jesus said that anyone who believes in Him will do greater works than the ones He did while He was on earth. If you are a child of God, you must know that your heavenly Father has anointed you with His power. This means that your hands are not ordinary - they have become God's channel of healing, deliverance, and restoration. Jesus Christ has paid the price for pains and sicknesses, and that is why He said in Mark 16:17-18: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." This means that if you are a true child of God and you lay hands on the sick, they will recover. When you lay your hands upon them, God's power will flow through your hands to heal them. I decree that from now on, when you touch the sick, they will be healed. I usually tell Christians who are doctors, "Before you administer medications to your patients, obtain their permission to lay hands on them, then pray for them." I also tell them, "You will encounter situations where there will be nothing more you can do for your patients medically. At those times, hand their cases over to the One who said, 'I am the Lord that healeth thee.'" Beloved, if you are a child of God, your hands are powerful because they have been anointed by God. Therefore, exercise your faith in Him by laying hands on the sick for their healing, and you will begin to see special miracles happen through you. KEY POINT: The hands of Christians are not ordinary; they are God's channel of healing, deliverance, and restoration. Thank You for anointing me for signs and wonders through my hands. ‎ ‎✓Father, please help me to keep my hands holy, so that Your power will continue to flow through them to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed and restore the lost, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, please increase my faith in You, to do the works You did, and greater works than the ones You did, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, with Your anointing on my life, I stretch forth my hands to everything that is working contrary to Your plan around me, let them come alive now, in Jesus' name ‎ ‎✓Father, as I lay my hands on the sick from this day, let them begin to receive their healings and wholeness, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, because my hands are no more ordinary, as I lay them on the oppressed, let Your power flow through them for their deliverance, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, for all Your children who are in the medical field, please let their hands become channels of healings to the sick that may come their way, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, in any situation that is beyond the knowledge of science, please let Your power flow through the hands of all Your children such that they will record giant discovery that will bring lasting solutions, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, please let there be special miracles through the hands of all Your children so that they will become channels of blessings in their various fields, in Jesus' name. ‎ ‎✓Father, thank You for the life of Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye. ‎ ‎May Your power continue to be on the increase in the hands of Your son, in Jesus' name. Bless his children (biological and spiritual).
