Reflection
The Bible gives Jesus many titles, but one of the most powerful is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This title speaks of absolute authority, supreme power, and eternal dominion.
Kings rule over territories, people, and governments. But Jesus is not just a king among kings — He is the King over all kings. This means no authority, no government, no power, and no ruler is above Him. Everything in heaven and on earth is under His authority.
Many people want Jesus as Savior, helper, or provider, but this scripture reminds us that Jesus is King. A king is not just someone you call when you need help; a king is someone you obey, honor, and submit to.
If Jesus is truly King in your life, it will show in your decisions, your character, your priorities, and your obedience to God’s Word. When a king speaks, his word becomes law. In the same way, when Christ speaks through His Word, believers are called to follow.
The beautiful thing about Jesus being King is that He is not a wicked or selfish ruler. He is a loving King, a just King, a faithful King, and an eternal King. His rule brings life, peace, purpose, and salvation.
Today remember this truth: You are not just serving a teacher, prophet, or leader — you are serving the King of Kings.
