Thankful Thursday Morning Prayer – Lent Day 37: Abiding in the Vine
Heavenly Father,
We come before You this Thankful Thursday morning with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for the gift of life, for Your mercy that renewed us today, and for Your unfailing love that sustains us. Lord, as we reflect on Your Word in Gospel of John 15:5, we are reminded that You are the Vine, and we are the branches. Apart from You, we can do nothing.
Father, teach us to stay connected to You in every moment. In our thoughts, in our decisions, in our daily walk—help us to abide in Your presence. When distractions come, draw us back. When weakness arises, strengthen us. Let our lives be rooted deeply in You so that everything we do flows from Your Spirit.
Lord, prune anything in us that is not pleasing to You. Remove fear, doubt, pride, and anything that hinders our growth. Shape us, mold us, and refine us so that we may bear fruit that glorifies Your name—fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
We thank You, Lord, because we know that when we stay connected to You, our lives will produce lasting fruit. Not temporary success, but eternal impact. Let our words uplift, our actions reflect Christ, and our lives be a testimony of Your grace.
Father, keep us abiding in You today and always. Let our connection with You be unbroken and our faith unwavering.
Declaration...
I remain in Christ, and He remains in me. I am connected to the true Vine, and I bear much fruit. My life produces lasting, godly fruit in every season.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
