Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
This week, I am blessed to have my littles with us. It has been a bit since we have spent any time together other than a quick pass through here or there. By week’s end, I am sure that I am going to need a vacation, but it is only because I am old and they forget that…and to be honest … I do too when they are here—already got some baking on the calendar.
Last week was a bit of a chaotic mess that seemed to have worked itself out. This week is catch-up week for paperwork that I missed getting done because of the week we had. I should be extremely busy for at least 10 minutes … HAHA.
Yesterday was a beautiful day. Started a little on the cool side, but not terrible, worked its way up to gorgeous, and with a blink of an eye, typical Indiana weather appeared…drop in the temperature and rain. I half expected to wake up to snow … just saying. Shoot, we have an hour before I leave for work, there is still time.
Today I have declared this day to be the day of all days. We are fully staffed today. Even with a broken night’s sleep thanks to the dog, I am well rested and have my first coffee in me. My littles are here to hang out and bring life back into the house. The high today is going to be 45 with some wind, so it sounds like a great day to peek outside, then go back in. Just checked out the forecast, yep, it is a peek day for sure.
What do you plan to do today? Grumble because it is Monday, or praise because the sun is out. Complain that you were not born rich or won the lottery this weekend, or be happy that you are vertical and can be someone’s light? Today’s outcome is truly up to you, and your perspective this morning is. Dark and gloomy or bright and shiny, which do you choose? Bets on which one I choose.
Be blessed today.
