Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
Knock on wood, today will be my last day to carry mail. Circumstances, whatever they are, I am the last available body. Fortunately for me, it is a rural route, and it's going to be a beautiful day. What better way to spend my Saturday than driving through the countryside with God watching over me AND getting paid to do it while spending someone else’s gas? That works for me.
This week is Spring Break for my littles. Both mom and dad are working, so they are going to come spend time with us. What they don’t know is that it is not a complete holiday for them, we are going out to a friend’s house to help them. Tonight after work, I will go purchase the appropriate (I hope) amount of groceries for the week and get us all prepared for the two bottomless pits coming.
Spring is definitely looming. My allergies have kicked it up a notch this morning. Note to self … 2 rolls of paper towels and 6 boxes of tissue will be needed for a drive through the countryside. (haha)
With today being a solidly beautiful day in both show and temperature, make sure that you take time to get outside and enjoy His creation. The enemy would have you hide or only see the items that need to be done/repaired from the past storms. Look past the chores, see His face. Watch the birds as they play through the wisps of air. Count the rabbits who have come out to see if it is really spring. Watch a creek or a brook run free. Enjoy Him today, it is a present.
Be blessed.
**The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. –Proverbs 10:28
