Due to our sinful nature of the sinful flesh we are born into, the mere presence of truth makes all of us uncomfortable. It takes a lot of work and time, and dying to our old lives, to get to the point where we live in the truth and welcome it in our lives. This is difficult, uncomfortable, scary work that the elders of the Church need to have hands free enough to effect in their flock.”
