REINING FROM OUR PLACE OF VICTORY
Every child of God is born victorious, and none of us is void of power. In the epistle of first John 5: 4 we're told that for whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, this is the victory that we've overcome the world even our faith. Nothing defeats us in this world. We're above the world and its reign. Our victory lies in Christ where we've the assurance of SALVATION. Our victory is guaranteed in Christ. We only fight to enforce our guaranteed victory in Christ. Let's quickly take a look at Ephesians 6:10-12, Apostle says that we're not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against evil powers. The word to 'wrestle' in that context refers to struggle or resist. To understand this, let's also have a crosscheck on James 4:7 where we're told that we should submit ourselves unto God and resist the devil and he'll flee from us. Do we now get the point? Furthermore 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, the Bible tells us that for though we walk in flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds, thoughts or arguments, and every high thing that exalts against the knowledge of God. When we're engaged in such a war, we resist it, combat it, cast it down, and enforce our guaranteed victory in CHRIST through obedience
