Have you ever woken up in a pitch-black room during a power outage? You know your furniture is there, but you stumble and trip because you cannot see the path. Spiritual blindness is exactly like that. We have the Bible on our shelves and the truth in our ears, but without God’s light, we still wander in the dark. We don't need better furniture; we need His power to be turned on.

The psalmist knew what we often forget: without God’s light, we walk through a world full of lies, illusions, and halfโ€‘truths. In a world full of "๐˜ด๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฌ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ด," we need more than information—๐ฐ๐ž ๐ง๐ž๐ž๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.

The psalmist’s prayer—“๐˜–๐˜ฑ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฆ๐˜บ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด”—is the confession of a blind soul. He doesn’t boast of insight; he begs for mercy. Scripture teaches that the heart is naturally blind (๐Ÿ ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐Ÿ’:๐Ÿ’), unable to grasp truth without God’s illumination. We misjudge life until God turns on the light.

The Bible teaches that "๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜จ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ด ๐˜ธ๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ญ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฉ ๐˜ฃ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ด ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ฉ ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ต" (๐Ÿ ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐Ÿ’:๐Ÿ’). Yet Scripture is not a puzzle for the clever, we may possess the Book and still lack the sight. We remain blind—until God opens.

The Psalmist said that the Scripture is “๐˜ข ๐˜ญ๐˜ข๐˜ฎ๐˜ฑ ๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฎ๐˜บ ๐˜ง๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ข ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต ๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฎ๐˜บ ๐˜ฑ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฉ” (๐๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—:๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“); we must realize that "๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜บ ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต ๐˜ด๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜ธ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต" (๐๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”:๐Ÿ—). To ignore this is to live where "๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต๐˜ด ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ, ๐˜ฃ๐˜ถ๐˜ต ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ๐˜บ’๐˜ด ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ." We must pray for sight, for only the "๐˜ฑ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ต ๐˜ด๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ ๐˜Ž๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ" (๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฐ ๐Ÿ“:๐Ÿ–).

Jesus Christ is the only One who can flip the switch and end our spiritual blackout. He takes us from the "๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฃ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ" of our blindness and brings us into His "๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ด ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต" (๐Ÿ ๐๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ:๐Ÿ—), making the path home clear at last.

Are you still stumbling through life in the dark, wondering why you keep tripping over the same sins? What if the reason growth has stalled is not rebellion—but blindness? You need Christ to turn the lights on in your soul today. Will you stop trying to navigate the darkness on your own and ask the Master to open your eyes to the "๐˜ธ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ด ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ๐˜ด" of His Word?
