𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐲 ✍️ “𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦, 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥.” Have you ever watched someone walk through hardship yet still radiate gratitude? It almost stops you. While others crumble, they shine. While others complain, they worship. That kind of thanksgiving doesn’t come from personality or positivity—it comes from grace. Grace turns pressure into praise and trials into testimonies. Grace makes glory rise where sorrow once lived. Paul explains this truth in 🕮 𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟏𝟓: “𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥.” Grace was never meant to be private property. It multiplies when it moves through grateful hearts. Writing to a suffering church, Paul shows that grace doesn’t end in comfort—it ends in praise. When grace is received rightly, thanksgiving overflows, and God’s glory shines brighter in a watching world. To redound means to overflow, echo, and rise higher. Grace fuels gratitude, and gratitude lifts glory back to God. Scripture consistently points us upward. “𝘐𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴” (𝟏 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟏𝟖). “𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺” (𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟏𝟑:𝟏𝟓). “𝘉𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘖𝘙𝘋, 𝘖 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘴” (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟏𝟎𝟑:𝟐). Grace fills the heart, thanksgiving fills the mouth, and God is magnified. Thanksgiving is not optional—it is the natural overflow of a grace-filled life. This reflects God’s chief end: His glory. Salvation itself is “𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦” (𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏:𝟔). As the saying goes, “𝘎𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘶𝘦.” Grace reminds us the credit always belongs to God—every time. The grace that lifted us now leads us upward. Jesus Christ is the fountain of that grace, and through Him our thanksgiving rises heavenward. “𝘏𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘩, 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥” (𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏:𝟑𝟏). Grace doesn’t end with us—it ascends to Him in thanks and praise. What trial has quieted your thanksgiving? Speak thanks anyway. Look back at what God has carried you through. Let gratitude rise where grace has already worked. Who sees God more clearly because you thanked Him openly today? Don’t let grace stop at enjoyment—let it rise in praise.
